Iran megastar Leila Hatami is to join 'Telegram'

Iran megastar Leila Hatami is to join cast of 'Telegram' home market series by Fereydoun Jeyrani.

This is the first time for the star of 'Leila' to act in a home market series.

 ifilm viewers must know the multitalented actress from the series 'The British Briefcase' by Seyyed-Ziaeddin Dorri.

She has been in a number of ifilm movies too. The films are 'Leila', 'The Orange Suit', 'Sheida' and most recently 'Down and Out'.

Born in 1972, Hatami is the daughter of renowned Iranian director Ali Hatami.

She has been in numerous movies and has grabbed several prestigious awards including the Grand Prix from Karlovy International Film Festival.

The prolific actress was among the main cast of Oscar-winning movie 'A Separation' directed by Asghar Farhadi.  

Until now,the new series 'Telegram', which is at the pre-production stage, has decided upon some of the actors/ actresses who are Farhad Aslani, Vishka Asayesh and Mahour Alvand.
